So, technically, this blog isn't supposed to start until the 1st of 2010. But I have to test things, especially new things. So . . . this is my official test. The artwork is indicative of the purpose of this blog. It's an image of handwritten correspondence. That's kind-a what this is all about. I will attempt this year to create one piece of artwork per day for two specific reasons: to illustrate my thoughts on that day and to stay creatively sharp. The pieces will undoubtedly be rendered in such quality as to indicate the mood I was in and I doubt many will be sufficiently finished. But they will hopefully be complete in subject and purpose or completely lacking either. Basically, sky's the limit and it's a complete toss up as to what will be posted. From doodles to posters to logos . . . who knows. It will please you to note, however, that whatever is posted will be honest. . . an honest look at this life and these times through my artist eyes and completely masticated by my creative mind. I'll see you in a couple of days and as the folks at Coca-Cola love to say, "Enjoy!"
